The longest blooming rose in my garden, 粉粧楼　フンショウロウ　Fen Zhuang Lou. A great, compact, China Rose. 94 buds and blooms at the last counting. If I knew Chinas performed so well in my hot and humid summers climate I would invest in them more. Learning thru experience and practice.


Not in its best but still great to look at in December.

It was 20F at 7:00 this morning but by early afternoon had gotten all the way up to 30F and the sun was shining so I spent a couple of hours picking up limbs from the fir trees that came down in Monday's wind storm. Not anything that HAD to be done today I just needed to get outside for some fresh air and exercise before the next batch of bad weather that's predicted for tomorrow.
I've been going through my 2008 photos and trying to create an album on GB's. So much fun now that I no longer...

Cats aren't supposed to sit in the bird feeder, are you sure?


It's still snowing, I guess we are going to have a real winter this year. We don't usually get much snow or really cold weather. I walked around the garden today and took a few photos. I guess I'll make a winter album.
