  • Heronswood torquatus

I will not claim any provenance for these two except that they are from the old Heronswood. I have two of the dark single and two of the DBL.They both are very good parents, that is, they are amazing to use in hybridizing. Both have been divided and have a new place in the garden. Picture is from 2016, still waiting for spring. I hope that they will be established well enough to produce seed, Jeff I have a tag,JNZ, set for yours. I know how long you have waited and your on top of the list!

        Assume that DBL means double?
        Exquisite in any case.

Love that Garden, Heronswood. Burpee Seeds gave it to the American Indians . so in good hands.

Very pretty Bruce! Jeff will indeed be happy,- some good genes to incorporate into his pursuit of the perfect doubles! :)
